About internships
Any internship must be designed primarily for the intern’s educational benefit and comply with wage, hour, school-credit, and worker-classification rules where the intern lives.
An intern receives a named mentor, a written learning plan, a limited schedule, and portfolio-ready feedback. Internship work complements the team and does not replace a paid employee. Where an unpaid placement is not lawful or appropriate, the role must be paid or not offered.
