Crypto invoices

Crypto invoices that get paid like invoices should

Email an invoice with a dollar amount; your client pays in USDC from their wallet; the receipt and records take care of themselves.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps.
No custody.

Everything runs on your wallet. Settle is the checkout, the verification, and the record-keeping — never the money.

01

Write the invoice

Amount, description, optional due date — priced in dollars, paid in the stablecoin you choose. No formatting wizard, no template hunt.

02

Email the link

Settle sends the invoice to your client with a hosted payment page. They pay from any wallet — no account needed on either side.

03

It settles and records itself

The transfer is verified on-chain, the invoice flips to paid, your client gets a receipt by email, and the whole timeline is kept for you.

What a crypto invoice has to solve

Invoicing in crypto has three recurring problems: telling the client exactly what to pay, knowing when it actually arrived, and keeping records that survive. Pasting a wallet address into an email fails all three — the client guesses the amount, you watch the explorer, and your bookkeeping happens in a chat thread.

A Settle invoice fixes each one. The invoice carries a dollar amount and a unique exact payment amount in the token you chose, so the client's transfer reconciles to exactly that invoice — no address juggling, no 'did you send it yet'. Payment detection and on-chain verification are automatic, with several independent checks so a payment registers even if the client closes the tab. And the records — invoice, verification timeline, receipt, customer history — live in your dashboard and export to CSV.

What your client sees

They get an email from you with a payment link. The page shows your business name and branding, the amount in dollars, the exact amount to send in USDC (or USDT/DAI), and a clean checkout: connect a wallet, or scan a QR code from a phone wallet. If they want a receipt, they leave an email; if they'd rather not, they can pay without sharing any contact details.

When they pay, the page updates as the payment is detected and then verified on-chain — amount, token, network, and destination all checked against the blockchain itself before anything is marked complete. The receipt they receive carries the transaction and a permanent link to the payment record.

Everything around the invoice

Invoices support due dates and optional reminders, and disputes have a built-in thread — if a client replies with a problem, the conversation and its resolution are attached to the payment record rather than lost in email.

Refunds stay in your hands, in the honest way blockchain works: you send the refund from your own wallet, and when you record it Settle verifies the outbound transfer on-chain and marks the invoice refunded. Your records and the client's receipt both reflect it.

For repeat clients, the customer view keeps their payment history together, and subscriptions handle recurring work the way blockchain allows — a renewal link before each cycle that the client approves, never an automatic charge.

Cost and getting started

Invoices are included in the launch plan at 0% platform fee — the only cost is the network fee your client pays to send the transfer. You can test the entire flow first: create an invoice in test mode, simulate the payment, and see the receipt and records exactly as your clients will.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

Your branding.
Your invoice.

The checkout your client opens carries your business name and brand color. It shows the dollar amount, the exact amount to send, and one clear pay button — no template editing, no PDF attachments, no “what address do I send this to” emails.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Frequently
asked.

Is the crypto invoice generator free?

Creating and sending invoices is included at 0% platform fee during launch. Your client pays the network fee to send the payment — typically a fraction of a cent on Base or Solana. Settle takes nothing.

Which coins can I invoice in?

USDC, USDT, DAI, and native ETH or SOL depending on the network. For dollar-denominated invoices, USDC is the common choice.

Do my clients need a crypto wallet?

Yes — the invoice is paid from their wallet: connect one in the browser or scan a QR code from a mobile app. They don't need a Settle account or any account at all.

How do I know when an invoice is paid?

The invoice is marked paid only after the transfer is verified on the blockchain — the exact amount, token, network, and destination are checked. You see it in your dashboard, and a receipt is emailed to your client automatically.

Can I export invoices for accounting?

Yes — transactions export to CSV with the details accounting needs, and every payment keeps its full verification timeline and receipt.

The checkout is ready. Your wallet is waiting. Say the price. Share the link. Set your own terms. Keep the whole payment. From first customer to a real business.
