The fee difference matters, but it is rarely the reason merchants move. The rows below it usually are.

Pricing questions

What does 0% actually mean?
Settle takes nothing from the payment. A $100 invoice settles $100 into your wallet. The only cost is the network fee the sender pays to broadcast the transfer, which on Base is typically a fraction of a cent.
What happens when launch pricing ends?
Any change is announced in advance and published here before it takes effect. Payments you have already taken are never repriced retroactively.
Are there limits on volume or number of links?
No. Public endpoints are rate limited to protect platform stability, but there is no cap on volume, payment links, products, or customers.
Do I need a business entity to start?
No. You need a wallet address and an email. Whether your own jurisdiction requires you to register a business to trade is your call, not a platform restriction.
Is there a fee to receive on a particular chain?
Settle charges nothing on any chain. Network fees differ by chain and are paid by the sender — which is why Base and Solana are the common defaults.
