Payments on Polygon

Accept USDC payments on Polygon

Accept USDC, USDT, DAI, or ETH on Polygon — a long-established network where stablecoin transfers typically cost a few cents, straight to your wallet.

Accepts USDC, USDT, DAI on Polygon. Settle never holds funds — payments settle straight to your wallet.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps.
No custody.

Everything runs on your wallet. Settle is the checkout, the verification, and the record-keeping — never the money.

01

Add your wallet

Add the Polygon address you want to receive payments on. Settle never asks for keys — only the address.

02

Share a checkout

Create a payment link, invoice, or product page at a dollar price. Customers see a hosted checkout with your branding.

03

Get verified payments

Transfers settle directly into your wallet. Settle verifies each one on-chain before marking it paid, then issues the receipt.

Why accept payments on Polygon

Polygon has been a low-cost stablecoin network for years, and a large share of USDC holders have held funds there at some point. If your audience skews toward wallets with Polygon balances — international customers and web3-native ones often do — accepting Polygon meets them where their money already is.

The trade-offs are mild: transfers cost a few cents rather than Base's fraction of a cent, and settle in a few seconds. For most checkout amounts, the difference is noise. Run it alongside your other networks and let customers choose.

Fees and costs, plainly

Polygon is an established network with consistently low fees — stablecoin transfers typically cost a few cents or less. That network fee is paid by your customer when they send the payment, and it goes to the network — not to Settle.

Settle's platform fee is 0% during launch on every network, so the cost of a payment is the network fee and nothing else. If pricing ever changes, it will be announced in advance and published on the pricing page before it takes effect.

Wallets your customers will use

Any EVM wallet: MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, and others, connected in the browser or by scanning the checkout QR code. No account creation is required to pay — a customer opens your checkout, approves the exact amount, and they're done.

You can collect an email for the receipt, make it optional, or allow fully anonymous checkouts — the choice is yours, per link or product.

How Settle verifies the payment

On Polygon, Settle reads the token contract's transfer record on the blockchain and checks that the exact amount, of the right token, arrived at your wallet. A transaction hash by itself settles nothing — the transfer itself has to be on-chain and match.

Once verified, the payment is marked complete, your customer receives a receipt by email, and your dashboard shows the full timeline — detection, verification, and settlement — alongside the transaction on the block explorer.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Frequently
asked.

What can I accept on Polygon?

USDC, USDT, DAI, and native ETH. As with every EVM network, your Polygon payout wallet is just an Ethereum-style address you control.

What does a Polygon payment cost?

The network fee — typically a few cents or less for a stablecoin transfer. Settle's platform fee is 0% during launch.

Is USDC on Polygon the same as USDC on Ethereum?

They're the same dollar-pegged token issued on different networks. A Polygon payment settles on Polygon to your Polygon wallet — transfers stay on the network they're sent on.

Which wallets work?

Any EVM wallet — MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, and the rest — plus QR-code payment from mobile wallets.

The checkout is ready. Your wallet is waiting. Say the price. Share the link. Set your own terms. Keep the whole payment. From first customer to a real business.
