Refund & Cancellation Policy
Settle cannot reverse an on-chain transfer. Refunds for a purchase are handled by the merchant you paid, using the merchant's published policy and a new outbound transaction.

1. Who handles a refund
The merchant is the seller and is responsible for its products, services, cancellations, and refunds. Settle provides software that records a payment and may provide a dispute message thread, but does not decide whether a refund is owed and does not control either party's wallet.
2. On-chain payments are final
Confirmed blockchain transfers cannot be reversed, recalled, or edited. When a merchant approves a refund, the merchant must send a separate transaction to an address supplied and verified by the customer. The customer and merchant are responsible for checking the network, token, amount, and destination before sending.
3. How to request a refund
Contact the merchant shown on your checkout or receipt and include the invoice identifier and transaction hash. Do not send a private key or seed phrase. If you cannot reach the merchant, contact [email protected] and we may help pass along the request, but we cannot compel or issue a refund.
4. Settle service charges
Settle currently charges no platform fee during the launch period. Network fees paid to a blockchain network are not charged by Settle and are generally non-refundable. Any future paid Settle service will state its cancellation and refund terms before purchase.
